To find out if you can use Fitbit Connect with your Mac or older Windows PC, review your model’s user manual and scroll to the section on setting up your device. If you own a recent Fitbit model, like the popular Inspire Series, Versa Series, or Ionic, you cannot use Fitbit Connect–you must use the Fitbit app for Apple devices (iOS), Android, or Windows 10. However, the biggest difference between Fitbit Connect and the Fitbit app is that Fitbit Connect only works with older, legacy Fitbit devices.
